Online Jewellery and Watch Appraisal for Insurance

At Prestige Valuations, we can value your jewellery or watch online in three simple steps, often without the need to see the item in person.

Step 1 – Upload Clear Images

Provide clear, high quality photographs of the item. Images should ideally be taken hands free on a plain white background and from multiple angles, allowing our specialists to assess the item accurately.

Step 2 – Provide Supporting Documentation

To verify the item and confirm its details, please upload at least one or more of the following documents:
  • Original purchase receipt or invoice
  • Previous professional valuation or appraisal
  • Manufacturer certificate or purchase documentation
  • For watches: warranty card, manufacturer paperwork, or original purchase invoice
These documents assist us in confirming the item specification, authenticity, and supporting provenance.

Step 3 – Receive Your Appraisal Certificate

At Once the images and documentation have been reviewed, your appraisal certificate will be prepared and emailed directly to you.

Please note: Online appraisals are conducted without physical inspection of the item and are therefore based solely on the images and documentation provided. As such, this will be issued as an unseen appraisal.

While many insurers accept remote appraisals for insurance scheduling purposes, acceptance of any valuation ultimately remains at the discretion of the individual insurance provider.
